Chelsea Wolfe is an American singer-songwriter and eponymous band from California, USA, currently operating out of Los Angeles. Her style has been described as "doom-folk", and her music has been described as a "specific brand of drone-metal-art-folk".She has released two full length albums: The Grime and the Glow, released December 28, 2010, and Apokalypsis in October 2011. Both albums were released on Pendu Sound Recordings. Her most recent album, Apokalypsis, has been reviewed or discussed by The Guardian, LA Times, Pitchfork, Fine Print Magazine, I-D, Nylon, and NPR.
